Access your device with any HTTP client library

From anywhere, via the Yaler relay.

Prerequisites

A device running a Web service. To set up your device, see getting started.

Using any HTTP client library

If you already use an HTTP client library to access a local Web service running on your device, there's a good chance you can use it to access the same Web service via Yaler, with minimal changes.

  1. Change the HTTP client library call to
    Host: RELAY_DOMAIN.try.yaler.io
    Port: 80 or 443
e.g. for the relay domain gsiot-ffmq-ttd5, enter
    Host: gsiot-ffmq-ttd5.try.yaler.io
    Port: 80 or 443
  2. Done. The code should now work the same way it did before with a local Web service.

Some changes might be required to handle redirects and proxies. For info please get in touch.
